HIPAA compliance challenges, changes in HIPAA and Medicaid billing
procedures that improve rate and response time of pay out to

and reviewing the critical health policy issues that impact
the health status of African Americans and our capacity to eliminate
health disparities; |

a forum for developing health policy in North Carolina as recommended
by the membership in consultation with the NC Legislative Black
Caucus; |

strategies and approaches for ensuring the Economic Survival
of Black Physicians. |

conclusion of the conference, participants should be able to:

innovative techniques for use with an array of conditions including
cardiovascular disease, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, HIV/AIDS,

Friday - Saturday NCLBCF /ONSMS event showcases efforts being

Youth Empowerment Series - 'All This I Am' includes a motivational
workshop, a visit to sites of interest in Raleigh, special
programming and co-hosting other children from across NC. A Sunday
morning, Salute to Health and Wellness' will cap this stimulating
weekend and acknowledge parental care and commitment to all.
